Telepaxx was founded in 1996 as the operating company of the e-pacs Storage Service. It can now look back upon 14 years of operating experience as the leading provider of medical storage services in Germany. Telepaxx currently operates three e-pacs Storage Centers with a total capacity of 3,900 TB.
 

More than 500 million x-rays are kept online in these centers. An additional 150 million new images are added each year. This makes Telepaxx the market’s uncontested leader for medical storage providing in Germany, as is shown by the following illustration of the evolution of archived image data.


As an extremely innovative business, Telepaxx offers its clients the rare combination of innovative dynamism and a very lean cost structure. This is possible, on the one hand, through many years of cooperation in the areas of development and support, and, on the other hand, through the complete automation of the Storage Center’s operation. Telepaxx achieves savings in operating costs through lean management and the use of all productivity reserves, and Telepaxx naturally passes these savings along to its clients in the form of uncommonly low e-pacs usage fees.

More than 100 radiological facilities currently use e-pacs. The spectrum of satisfied e-pacs users is very broad, as the following examples show:
